The Kolobrzeg
Commune covers an area of 145 km², with a population of 7,720
inhabitants.
Every year the
commune is visited by thousands of tourists and spa visitors who take
advantage of the natural curative powers of the iodine-rich sea
aerosol, deposits of therapeutic mud (borowiny) and brine
springs, as well as the sea itself.
Lake Resko is
located in the commune, linked to the sea by a channel with excellent
conditions for sailing and windsurfing. Around the lake, there is no
shortage of places where you can eat good food, rent rowboats,
sailboats or water bicycles.
The Kolobrzeg
Commune boasts one of the most beautiful beaches and one of the
cleanest bathing areas at the seaside.

Did you know that ...
The Church of St. John in
Budzistowo was built at the beginning of the 13th century.
According to some sources
it was founded by Princess Mirosława, wife of Pomeranian Prince
Bogusław II and daughter of Mieszko III the Old. The church is one
of the oldest historical buildings of this class in the voivodeship.
It was erected from red brick, with a three-sided apse built as a
further extension, and a wooden tower.
